on tap craft brews On Tap Sports Café’s Beer Wall has it all.

On Tap Sports Café has been a favorite neighborhood pub since 1996. Now with four Birmingham metro locations—Galleria, Inverness, Lakeview, and Fultondale—On Tap draws regulars from all around.

The stress of the day is left at the door as soon as you pull up a bar stool or nestle into a cozy booth. There is much comfort in sipping a craft beer paired with made from scratch pub fare—including their awesome wings and burgers—while watching sports or catching up with your buddies.

Today we sip three highly recommended brews from their famous Beer Wall: Oskar Blues Dale’s Pale Ale, Abita Andygator, and Back 40 Peanut Butter Porter. Balanced pale malt flavors and citrus hops integrate in Dale’s hearty brew—which holds the acclaim of being America’s first canned craft mountain pale. On a slightly sweet note, of pale malt, is Abita Andygator with a lovely fruity aroma and pleasingly dry finish. And my favorite of the three is Back 40 Peanut Butter Porter. Deep dark aromas, along with melt in your mouth flavors of peanut butter make me want to bite, rather than sip, this experimental, very limited release porter.
