The Liberty Park and Mountain Brook neighborhood pizzeria, La Dama Italian Bistro is a family-friendly, casual and relaxing answer to your dining experience. Located in the heart of Liberty Park, La Dama Pizzeria's menu boasts the best of the Italian flare with hearty salads, delicious pasta dishes, mouth-watering calzones and subs, and hand tossed or thin crust pizza pie with a seemingly endless array of toppings. La Dama delivers in a three mile radius, which includes Liberty Park, River Run area of Mountain Brook, and Cahaba Heights.
Long time Birmingham restaurateurs Dusty Leeming and Travis Wolfe took over the reigns of La Dama Italian Bistro on March 1, 2011. The marinara and pizza sauces are now made from scratch everyday using Wolfe's own recipe. All of the fish served is received fresh and hand cut at the restaurant. The pizza toppings have been upgraded, and the pesto is made fresh. The New York strip has been replaced by a hand-cut, Applewood bacon wrapped filet. These are but a few of the great changes made to insure the quality and taste of the food is outstanding.
The lunch menu meets the needs of the many local business in the neighborhood. Lunch sized pasta dishes, entree salads, sandwiches and more are on the new lunch menu starting at just $6.50. Don't forget to check out the famous Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza-wich. Wolfe and Leeming have put a lot of effort into getting lunch items out to the guest within ten minutes of receiving the order.
Leeming has also reworked the wine menu, adding more balanced variety and some exciting new additions to try. Seasonal white wines, perfect for the summer have a larger role and new lighter Italian reds and Pinot Noir are to be found.
