Brava Rotisserie Grill is a locally-owned restaurant. Barry and Lanier O'Hare of Birmingham, Alabama developed the concept after visiting family on the Costa Brava of Spain. While on the Costa Brava, they found both the culture and the food to be healthy, leisurely, fun and simple. They fell in love with the restaurants on the beach, with their doors open wide, allowing the coastal breeze to mingle with the scent of their rotisserie chickens. Looking around, the couple saw individuals in for a quick meal, couples taking their time over a long lunch and bottle of wine, and families sitting together, laughing, enjoying their meal and each others' company. In an effort to emulate these traits, Barry and Lanier developed a menu and restaurant reflecting the essence of this Mediterranean culture.
The aim of Brava Rotisserie Grill is to serve the community. This is accomplished by serving the individuals of the community as well as contributing to the local economy. Brava uses ingredients that are fresh and seasonal. By doing so, we are able to serve made-from-scratch meals that are flavorful and healthy; and all at reasonable prices. As an independent, locally-owned business, we know the importance of supporting local economy. Because of this, we rely on local vendors for products such as vegetables, coffee and breads.
