On Tuesday, September 23 the Louisiana Tourism Promotion Association will present a Louisiana Restaurant Takeover, an evening when Birmingham diners will have the opportunity to experience the culinary trails of Louisiana. Birmingham Restaurants participating include Highlands Bar and Grill, Bottega, Avo & Dram, Bistro 218 and Dixie Fish Co. Seven chefs from Louisiana will be placed in these restaurants, allowing Birmingham diners to receive a unique Louisiana dining experience right in their hometown. Chefs and their placements include:
Avo & Dram - Taken over by Lyle Broussard from L'auberge Casino & resort
Bistro 218 - Taken over by Ryan Andre from Le Creole
Bottega Restaurant & Highlands Bar & Grill - Taken over by Cory Bahr from Cotton
Dixie Fish Co - Taken over by Stephen Naegle from Spirits Food & Friends
